International controlling - Spain

As it is our tradition, the Catalan Association of Accounting and Management, the ACCID, organizes a Catalan Congress about Accounting and Management, which will be the fifth this year.

In this fifth edition, which takes place on the 6th and 7th of June 2013 in the International University of Catalonia (UIC), the planned conferences and simultaneous work sessions will be focused on the most current and important subjects of our profession.

The ACCID tries, as always, to be ahead of foreseen facts. The huge number of participants in prior Congresses let us assume that the success of this edition won't disappoint us.

I hope and wish that this Congress will be beneficial, not only in terms of ideas that could be contributed but also regarding the information that will be received, and from this point I invite everyone to participate.

The V. Catalan Congress on Accounting and Management, organized by Accid and ICV, takes place in june 2013, 6th and 7th, in the International University of Catalonia. It is supposed to be a meeting where teachers, academics and members of businesses and the Government can participate with the following objectives:

• Presentation of innovations in accounting and management content
• Promote the exchange of ideas and experiences between the academic and the professional world of business
• Dissemination of current research results by the various existing research teams with the aim of conducting this

NOTE
Researchers and teachers can send in information about any matter which is related to issues of accounting and management leadership. This information can be written in Catalan, Spanish, English or Portuguese. Standards for the authors are listed on the Internet: www.accid.org, area Congress.

About the 5th the increasing importance of Controller and Controlling due to the poor economic situation in Spain will talk the speakers and participants of the 5th Congress of ACCID in Barcelone from -  June 6-7, 2013. This year the Congress is organized in cooperation with the ICV.
